We're ready to provide not only a great night of music, but an incredibly fun, interactive concert experience for everyone. This is miles beyond traditional karaoke - we not only bring the songs and the talent, we make it an exciting concert experience that YOU'RE an integral part of!
We come prepared with copies of our extensive song list to be distributed throughout the audience -- and we love taking your requests in the weeks leading up to the big gig. We can't promise we'll be able to do every one, but we will certainly try to learn some of your favorite tunes, at which point we'll then provide the exact list for your event in advance on our website, so our future singers can check it out before the big night.
Lyrics will be provided! Depending on the venue, we'll either have a lyrics tablet, a binder of song lyrics, or for some venues, a projector with a screen behind the singer for the audience to sing along with, working in tandem with a tablet for the singer to see their lyrics. When the audience can see the lyrics, this involves EVERYBODY in a huge way, so this is highly recommended.
If you prefer to read lyrics from your own phone or tablet, that works too. And if you know a song by heart and don't need the lyrics? Then you're already a rock star!
Our song request slips will be distributed before the doors open, on tables, at the main entrance, etc. The request slips ask for 3 song choices from each singer - the more options you give us (only songs from the final song list, of course), the better the show is. That way we can avoid ever repeating a song, and we can keep the night moving quickly, curating the set list as we go so that the show is well-paced, interesting and exciting.
If your event is for charity, we can help you raise even more money by auctioning off songs or priority song slips - it's a lot of fun and for a good cause, so let's discuss options for making your fundraiser as successful and fun as possible.
Duets or small groups encouraged! Background vocalists are great too. We'll make sure there are mics for everyone. If you can play tambourine in time (i.e. before beer #5), don't be too shy to tell us. It's fun and interactive and we want this night to be a blast for every single person there, whether you get on stage or just watch it all unfold from the crowd with your friends. Our show is as much fun for the audience as it is for the singers!
And if you're unsure about what the hell to do up there, we'll help you! That's half the fun. We're known for being supportive and warm to all our singers, regardless of their skill level (or lack thereof). So if you get lost or confused, we're always happy to help keep you on track. (But we try to never stop a song - so if you can think about your choices in advance, practice them in the shower first - twice!)
For private parties, we'll also provide a customized web page for your event, with party details, your event's song list, a form to submit song choices, even photos if you like (for example, for a birthday celebration there's nothing like a few adorable baby photos to set the right mood). This way, you can give the link out to your attendees in advance, which shows everyone what a special night is in store, and gets everybody excited for the big event. (Not to mention that it gives them a chance to practice a bit too!)
